Needs to be aluminum instead of plastic to be up to IRT standards.

Haven’t used the 100 much yet. It’s the size I wanted IRT to make. Great size and less weight than the 200. I’m sure it will perform flawlessly. The 100xl is my third IRT reel and am excited to have it.
Great reel! I definitely like the line capacity for it's compact size plus the 30 lb drag. I fished the 300ul on my vacation trip to the Texas coast and caught plenty of trout, reds, and a few snook
Reel is phenomenal, pretty light, tons of drag, just solid all around.
Just picked up an IRT, American made , proudly in the great state of Pennsylvania. A 500 Dusl Drag spinning reel in black, very impressed with the quality of workmanship. It has great stopping power, for larger species of fish, a max drag of 35 lbs, the fit and finish are awesome, smooth as silk. If you are a serious fisherman, definitely a reel to consider. Highly recommended from a NYS fishing guide
I’m very happy with all 4 of my IRT reels. The latest was for trip to Cape Hatteras which was miserable due to a lingering Noreaster and fishing was almost non existent. However was able to use the reel for a couple of hours twice before the end of our week
