I love it. I fish freshwater. And the large round handle is something I’m not used to using. I am comfortable with the flat rubber one. It’s perfect.
100xl is a great reel. The extra spool is for mono. The other spool for braid. Added a Winn knob for cold weather fishing. My go to reel for inshore saltwater here in NC. Thanks IRT.

I also own a 500 DD which is the smoothest real ever own. I’ve fished with the 300 now 3 times. It’s compact, smooth and light. Hopefully with use it’ll loosen up even more as I’m not used to the size, smaller handle etc
The reel looks great and performs even better. You have to put the Bronze color in the whole line up.
The craftsmanship is second to none. I highly recommend you having extra spools.
The smoothest reel I have ever owned. I will be putting it through the wringer. IRT will have a lifetime customer if it holds up.
Needs to be aluminum instead of plastic to be up to IRT standards.
NEVER had a wind knot or issues with winding of braid.
